Palate Pleasing Peanut Butter Pie

This palate pleasing dessert is.....well, easy as pie. I like simple and this delicious little dish can be whipped up and chillin' in the fridge in no time at all.

The most difficult task is waiting for the cream cheese to soften and the whipped topping to thaw so you can put it all together.

You'll need:
1 Ready Made Graham Cracker Crust
1 Cup Peanut Butter (Crunchy or Smooth)
1 Cup Powdered Sugar
1 8oz. block Cream Cheese (softened
1 Container Whipped Topping (thawed)--I used Cool Whip

Beat the Peanut Butter, Powdered Sugar, and Cream Cheese together with your mixer until blended.
Fold in the Whipped Topping
Place the mixture into the pie crust and chill in fridge for a few hours before serving.
* You can embellish the top with candies

There you have it. Easy as pie. Enjoy!

VBS Project-Game On Lockers

These lockers didn't exactly turn out the way I wanted but they did serve the purpose.. In my tinamind, I had a vision of lockers that would open and close, you know, be functional as well as theme decor but that didn't happen.

Step 1. We taped the openings of my Tupperware boxes( every Tupperware Sales Consultant has several stacked up in her laundry room, trust me) with clear packing tape.

Step 2. Covered them with poster board. I'd recommend wrapping paper,or something else as poster board isn't very pliable. Painting would have been ideal, however, I was going for easy, affordable, and no mess.

Step 3. We drew locker accents (vents, latch) with a Sharpie marker.

Step 4. We printed themed prints and glued them on to decorate and threw an old sports jersey across the top for effect.

His divine power has given us everything required for life and godliness through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 2 Peter 1:3

Finally.... a little laughing, some crying, and a few bad words I have a completed scarf

For years I've tried to learn to crochet. At a young age my Aunt Betty gave me my first lesson in crochet during a Sunday Dinner visit to my maternal grandmothers,or Mamaw Jessee, as we called her. Yarning solo, I never graduated beyond the chain and let's face it, a long crochet chain doesn't really qualify as pretty or useful so that was the end of crochet for me for a very long time.

Years later during my very early adult years, my paternal grandmother, Mamaw Bowen became my second instructor. Like Aunt Betty, Mamaw Bowen was very advanced in the skill and could turn a chain into a beautiful afghan in no time at all. Mamaw would say "well youngun', you just double crochet", which was Greek to me. She tried hard to explain and teach me to move beyond "the chain" but sadly I just could not comprehend the concept and broke up with crochet once again.

Since then, I've made several attempts and even a few finished projects. My idea was that a new project, new yarn would equal new results, which instead gave me a box filled with unfinished projects, needles, and yarn. I just don't have much time to dedicate and then I lose interest. Me....commitment issues? Maybe.lol

I see Facebook posts of friends learning from videos and then the next day it's like they can crochet anything. It hasn't worked that way for me unfortunately but I have hopes of continuing my love hate relationship with crochet.
